I used Instagram to better the society

You can be a rainbow in somebody else’s cloud…

I never wondered ever that social media can change my life. Initially, when I made an account on Instagram I used to follow various pages which I found appealing. But I didn’t have many followers so I even thought if I should buy instagram followers. There are many sites which allow you to buy real instagram followers and to buy instagram likes.

Then one day, I was going through various newspapers and suddenly I came across one article related to women harassment. I held that newspaper for a few minutes in my hand and kept staring at that article constantly as if I landed into shock. I was astonished as well as puzzled after I read that. I felt pity for all those women who faced such trauma daily. Then all of a sudden an idea struck my mind and I decided to write few articles on topics  like “Social justice and women’s rights”. These articles usually contained few stories related to harassment and domestic violence appealing for the  justice for women.

I kept on writing in hope of Justice for women and with a thought that may be the one reading these articles would work towards the same idea. My intentions were honest, so gradually my articles started getting famous and I started getting support of the people. I got many likes and I wondered if now I need to buy likes on instagram.

The most awaited day..

Then one fine day, I got a call or I should say the call for which I was longing for since ever. This was the call from an NGO who saw my post on Instagram and requested me to visit their NGO once. After listening to that I was literally on the seventh sky as this was what I wanted. Tears rolled down my eyes as I could see a ray of light which can enlighten the lives of many. With anticipation, I entered their office and had a conversation with them and believe me this was the best thing that could ever happen to me. The lady joined my revolution and planned to work against women harassment.

NGO planned for Street plays against women harassment and generate public awareness. I even acted in those plays and with utmost efforts appealed for women’s rights. Many college students joined us and they performed several acts in various part of the city. Movement spread like a fire and soon many people came up to support our movement. Besides this NGO keep on helping women in several ways like by providing employment to them and helping them in the best possible way they can.

Hard work always pays you back..

One day after doing a play, a lady came to me and told me about her conditions. On further investigation, she revealed that she is being constantly harassed by her  husband since last 5 years. She mentioned that her husband is a drunkard and daily at night he returns home totally drunk. Her husband tortures her and beat her daily for any invalid reasons.

I was heartbroken listening to this and I asked her to come with me. She came with me and I asked her to file a case against him to which she refused. She was afraid to do so. I kept on insisting her and finally she agreed. And yes, I did it. The man is behind the bars and now I again made an update on Instagram about this case.

People from across the world commented on it and came up with their problems. NGO worked hard enough for  this revolution as well. This was a proud moment for me and while posting on Instagram I actually felt great. I was overwhelmed with joy.

Day by day I worked for this revolution. Solving people’s problem was what I wanted to do always. And finally a day came when I opened my own NGO and you would be amazed to know what name I gave to my NGO. The name was “ Insta house”. I owe this to Instagram.

I buy so many Instagram followers with the help of those posts. And to be honest, this post  changed my life completely as I said already. It is very difficult to abolish these things from society, but one can at least try to reduce such things from society. Work for better tomorrow.

Without Instagram it would be very difficult for me to collect so many people for this cause. Any movement needs support of thousands of people for its success. Instagram did this job for me.

Instagram is actually a good platform for conveying social messages. One can convey his ideas. I really never thought this before that I can do such a big thing for the welfare of common people. What I believe personally that social media can change the world, it only depends on a person how he/she makes use of it. Intentions are what matter most. With wrong intentions a person can even turn a  pencil into a weapon.

One should post such content which buys him likes on Instagram. This is a high time to change the mindset of those people who thinks that using social sites can ruin the person. It is not so. It all depends on you whether you use this for your benefit or for your destruction. The choice is all yours.A wise decision can change your life like it did for me. You can also buy instagram views or buy instagram comments to become famous.

According to the latest trend each of us is promoting products or advertising things on instagram. Making new pages for attracting attention of people or organizing movement just by creating pages on Instagram is what one suppose to do for gaining popularity or making their movement a successful one. I strongly recommend everyone to look for its positive aspects rather than criticizing it. Stop listening what others say. Wake up create your own movement and work for it. Your single effort may change the life of many people who are in need.

One should work for the betterment of society and applications like Instagram can act as a very good platform. It’s really good to see people working for a cause without selfish motive.
